It turns out the Berg&Dal meeting of 11 May is not public participation as much as possibly about tenders and future opportunities, based upon private invitations!

But We will get the info after that, I'm sure.

I have registered as well. From what I can understand a date stills
Needs to be decided for the ten year plan meeting. The Berg and Dal
Meet has to do with the 53 crazy tourism investment opportunities.
I stand to be corrected though. My goodness but I seem to get the idea
That .gov has now pulled all the stoppers in the hope of foreign investment
Just flowing into their coffers!!?? Fact remains, insofar that our front with
regard to safeguarding KNP and other national parks, has become a problem
on a far broader scale!!

I am still of the belief that the safety of these last few natural areas still lies far
Beyond our borders where a sense of sanity and reasonable thinking still prevails.

Take note, the 53 or 54 investment initiatives was/now undertaken by the dept.
Of tourism!!! Is .gov passing the buck again??

Make a long story short,> Kruger needs to be ripped from the
clutches of greed!!! Sanparks ideology needs to be subjected
to a full EIA(Invironmental Impact Assessment)!!

This to ascertain their ethics and approach toward
custodianship of heritage sites!!!

Have just heard (unofficially, but checked) today that the KZN meeting is in Durban on - Wednesday at 09.00. That is 2 days notice. How will people be able to rearrange their schedule to get to that. I was originally told it would probably be around 23rd May . . . .
