Today we move to KTC (No. 14), a camp that I like, without barrier, the water point is a bit far, but there is a beautiful view and the terrace is really very welcoming.
All the camp has to be redone (about fifteen tents) between the sun, the heavy rains and the storms all degrade very quickly. They have already started work, but it must be difficult to work on the roofs by more than 40 degrees during the day. Congratulations and thank you gentlemen.
On the way we find again our Meerkats, Kudus, Snake Eagle, Spotted Thick-knee (Dikkop) and Giraffes and some babies Ostriches with dad.

We meet Jacques, he turns around to welcome me. Oh, I'm glad to see him again. It seems he will not be here when we are in Urikaruus, or KK for that matter.
Thanks to him and the "tamtam" we had a good tent (at KTC) with a view. Thank you

(the guy changed the tent for me)

Wake up 7am, departure 10am for Kamqua.
The little Jackals of the camp discover a Kori Bustard and pursue her.

This is such a typical drive... lots of birds, most well known, only the steppe buzzard is hardly ever around anymore by the time we get there (or not yet there...)
Nothing better than a desert mash... yum yum!
Oh, and did they bring in tables for the patio at Kalahari Tented?

Lots of food shots...potatoes look good!
Looks like horns are a problem there for gemsbok, nana!
I like the cheetah under the beach umbrella.
