Weren't you fed up with lions by now?
There are some great portraits and they all look very young

What a lion extravaganza, Gavin!
Some nice close pics indeed!
Love the male surrounded by all the jackals in KTP!

2023 was indeed the Year of the Lions in KTP
Wonderful sightings, still enjoying this TT. You must post once a week for the rest of the year please
, so I can continue my KTP fix.

Hi everyone
Just to let you know that I haven't discarded all of you by not posting.
I've been away in Zambia and have month end, and then Vic Falls next weekend, all for work (Road race measuring)
So please bear with me until early October
Thanks
Gavin

You'll have more to write about when you are back

Thanks everyone so much for your patience
Ok, so to EVENTUALLY continue
After a quiet trip over the dune road, we were lucky enough to spot these suricates just before the Auchterlonie picnic site
And whilst having a snack, a first for us
A Kalahari Chicken begging at the picnic site
We went back to Rooiputs via Twee Rivieren, where I had no luck with internet payments, but so what. I was on holiday
On the way back, we saw a male lion parked off under a faraway tree

As well as a few others
As well as some eland just before Rooiputs
We returned to camp, showered and sorted out our lives

On our evening drive up to Kij Kij we were presented with
These gemsbok, in stunning light
As well as the Kij Kij lions still on their kill
That evening my notes say that we had a lekker braai.
Who am I to disagree
