We chilled out for most of the day, washing clothes (and mobile phones!), playing with the kids and sorting stuff out. We met some neighbours who popped over for a few drinks and a chat and whiles the sfternoon away in camp.
We did a late afternoon drive where a Bush Chicken refused to stay still for his photo to be taken.
And a lone Impala watched us impassively.
At the waterhole, Cape Buffalo were coming in for a dring along with their attendant Oxpeckers.
The views from the bridge were as sublime as usual, with Elephant, Buffalo and Impala present.
As the sun set, the bats emerged from beneath the bridge where the attendant Gabar Goshawks were on stanby to snatch one out of the air. If you wait on the bridge until the sun has just set, this spectacle is played out on a daily basis. Shame it was so dark, the photos don't do it justice.
The sunset was just as spectacular and we really enjoyed being on the bridge at this time of day.
And the moon was another day closer to being full.

Ask Toko how to make it jump unto your lap
Nice pics of the sun going to bed and the moon going on service
