Poor shark!

It drives me mad when anglers can't be bothered to return unwanted catches to the sea!

Whoever was angling saw it was a shark on the line and decided to cut the line

I guess it is worth to pay a visit there

It was very quiet and relaxing. Just a pity the gravel road outside had no speed limit

We packed the car the next morning in the rain. Not a nice way to say goodbye.
It was a long drive back to Mountain zebra. Arrived after 4pm. This time the check in went smooth
No intern this time. We unpacked and relaxed. Had our last braai of the trip.
The next morning we left just after 6am and couldn't find the key deposit box at reception
Just outside camp we found this guy saying goodbye
Then this creature
And the last animal feeling scared of the alien ship
We arrived back home after 4pm. Mother decided it's too late to drive home so decided to sleep over again
At this point we just wanted to run away.
We spend Christmas at home and on 2nd January we left for Clarens to visit mother in law

Just finished this TT, as I haven't been to any of the places you visited, so was quite enlightening.
The "cowboy faceoff" was very funny.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one that reads things into photos that are somewhat , uhm, uh, CRAZY.
The black wildebeest are strikingly handsome! Even the females, I suppose.
Love the zebras, especially the one dust bathing, but my favorite "little one" was your own little alien.

A real cutie pie!!!
As far as your mom talking, I always had a secret wish the world could somehow magically, spontaneously divide into the "talkers" and the "non talkers". I feel your pain.

for the TT, and have a GREAT trip next year to Kruger!!!

What a shocked-looking hartebeest!
What is that in the back right of that pic?
Big-horned wildebeest?
I assume your mother doesn't read here, like mine doesn't, Alpheus!?

Selected antelopes happy to see you go? Noooooooo!
Too far to drive for just one night. Moreover with rain
And then home just for a short stay and off again to another mom. Just too much for anybody
Looking forward to another trip with the alien space ship

I only realized now that Mountain Zebra featured in the first part of this report.
Better late than never, I suppose.

And what's your final verdict, Alf? Did you like the trip?
