We spent the next morning chilling around the lodge. Drinking coffee and taking in the view.
I'd been told to book a boat trip with Pangolin Safaris, so went to the booking office and set up an afternoon trip with them.

If you have no camera, they supply one for you to use during the trip and you get to keep the memory card that you used.
The staff were excellent throughout. Very professional and they really knew their stuff. Our Captain, Killer, knew the river like the back of his hand and placed us in just the right spot with good light for photographing the various species seen.
We had some really close up ellie encounters.
And came across a large herd of Buffalo.
An amorous water monitor.
And a croc or three.
They even supply a cheeky beer ot two for sundowners.
