The thing about this decrepit game drive vehicle, or Thighmaster Mark II, is that one sits rather high up on the second teir of seats, so while the hamsters in front feel they are travelling normally, The Guest and I have a major upper-body workout at the back...
Also, the hamsters give a kindly warning about upcoming low branches, appreciated, but this wanes as the day wears on. So we adopted a rather "eyes front" approach!
Fortunately there were no thick low branches, hopefully due to mechanical and not human-head trimming, but there were quite a few whimsical thorn sapling shoots, so to speak. The Guest and I don't have hair..we would have lost some! -O

Hey, you never got slapped by a single twig or branch on the whole weekend. Unlike Sprocs on Sunday, but that's another story.
Your upper body workout came from delving into the depths of the coolerbox, another issue all together.

If you had been,it would have been classed as another mortal injury and we would have heard a lot about it

Sprocky was convinced the oxpeckers were yellow-billed, and I could spot with the naked eye that they weren't, and challenged him to bet money. This normally works very well with argumentative schoolkids...teachers take note!
But he entered and lost his bet...
Another hamster trend...

I told him 3 years ago he needed some glasses, but he is as stubbourn as a fair maiden waiting for a beau to arrive.
