Day 6 Wednesday 14 November : Balule - continued.
The sun made an appearance in the afternoon.
In camp, an immature Natal Spurfowl.
Hippos at the Ngotso Wier.
Giraffes on the H1-4.
An ancient Buff.
A Red-crested Korhaan calling for a mate.
Rainbow cloud.
At Balule, the scorpion torch proved its value when it lit up this Transvaal Thick-tailed Scorpion before I trod on it!
And an Olive Toad.

The more the giraffe turns it head, the thinner the neck gets. Looks funny

I don't have an iphone, Bulltuner...but the word on the street is you guys with the big cameras will be overtaken by cellphones! 
Good not to step on that parabuthus...had a bad experience with one near Balule, ironically, hence I remember the name!

I was ready to run away if the scorpion had moved in my direction - some things do scare me; mostly things that can do me some harm!

I've no doubt that cellphone cameras will continue improve but I think it will be many years before cellphone cameras get anywhere near the image quality of a DSLR because they will also improve. I agree, not such interesting pics in that bit but some people liked them
