Amazing sightings!! 
Back to Part Two of my Olifants trail adventure as a child:
Thinking about it, the ranger tried to kill me 3 times, including the silly plank over the crocodiles...
Won't mention his name, but he became a section ranger later...
The first evening, we went on a group walk just behind camp, as the sun was setting...very nice indeed, remember the first thing about civet scat with millipede remainders in it. But then it got dark, and we started asking where we were, and he said he didn't know!
Pretty standard joke, I think, but I was ready to head for the hills to mommy!
We were just behind the basecamp, so no problem!
The last night, by which time I had obviously proved myself obnoxious even then, we were having pre-bedtime coffee around the fire, as a group, telling stories and asking questions and what not!
Upon taking my last dregs sip from my mug, I noticed a scorpion in it...and not a silly one, a parabuthus, inserted by the ranger!
Great laughs were had by all, and the ranger discussed the finer points of scorpions etc.
But I sometimes wonder if the experiment wasn't a bit dangerous?
I must say I remember every detail about parabuthus....interesting teaching aid!
If it was alive, then I would say it was a very dangerous prank! 
You must have been REALLY obnoxious!
