Catching up....
The Olifant's views are spectacular, especially the elephant silohuette
Lion cubs, a Leopard

- you know Anna will tell THAT part of the story forever
The old Ellie tusker is a reminder that we all have many, many beautiful memories over time, as well as some troubled ones, and acts as a metaphor for the balance and perspective of all that Life both gives and takes from us, bitter and sweet, but hopefully, mostly sweet memories. He is a symbol of your relationship with your Father, and all you have done to bring him joy...

to both of you.

The leopard was a fantastic last sighging.

With regards to Mommo, it's the circle of life, just something we have to accept.
Thanks RP!

Not sure Anna should meet the Nelspruit baboons!

Thanks so much, Flutterby,
for another wonderful report and loved everything of it

Sorry that I could not reply more often as I was in our beloved park as well
Loved how often Anna changed her mind with her favourite animal as soon as having seen a new one - It remembered me of my very first Kruger trip as I was feeling the same when seeing a never seen animal so far

Gladly you could also have a great number of lifers or even first Kruger birds
The accommodation at Satara is looking brilliant and I loved your braai sessions in the evening
Finally I was happy for you about that wonderful lion sighting you had and for sure the although very short leopard
Until the next one
