Love the saddle billed storks, Bushcraft,
and for sure amazing to spot a porcupine in camp
Thanks Pumbaa, we also loved the SBS's
I have since found out that the porcupine is often spotted under the Moni guest house deck, which is next to the GC6 we were in

The weather was still suspect when we woke and the dark cloudy overcast conditions were starting to irritate me, however I suppose if there’s no howling wind its ok and the weather forecast did indicate improving conditions in the afternoon.
We were still enjoying the more peaceful area around Afsaal, so we decided once again to head that direction, however only a few animals showed up on the way down and the first pics we took were of a lioness on a rock just outside Afsaal.

Nobody needed the loo yet so we continued on down to the S118 and the day got more interesting just before the turn off from the H3 as lion had killed a buffalo, however the lions had moved off and hyena/vultures had taken over.

A guy at the sighting then told us that the lion had headed towards the waterhole on the S118, so I started up and headed that direction; however we couldn’t find them, so I continued on towards the S119.
The S119 disappointedly produced very little to get excited about, so I started to stop for some birds for the Cow.

RP
Nope same old canon 550D and Sigma 150mm to 500mm lens. The Cow and Rats have point and shoot cameras. I wish that I could afford a new rig, but Varsity fees for the next 10 years for all the Rats takes that option away
Ja, a fair morning
