Leaving the Lions it was not long before we saw some Lilac-breasted Rollers. The first was in poor light.

But the second one was in nice sunshine with an orange-leafed background.

Shame I blurred the flight pic though.

As we approached the camp, a Slender Mongoose was busy rooting about in the grass at the side of the road.

After breakfast at the restaurant in camp, we headed South along the Kanniedood Dam road to see what we could find. First up was an Emerald-spotted Wood-dove.

Then a flock of noisy Helmeted Guineafowl. This one was busy having a dust bath.

Love the second last one - looks so funny how the guineafowl is checking its feathers. lol
