The sand snake has beautiful colours ^Q^ ^Q^ African Hoopoe in KTP? Never seen before :shock:

Isn't it early for the springbok lambs?

Thanks to our neighbour, who held the snake up so I could photograph it.

It is very early for Springbok lambs, they usually arrive in late November!

:-? Make your mind up RP! I thought the last installment was full of boring stuff you see in your garden 0*\

I thought that Stagazer was very brave picking the Scorpion up on the cardboard (packaging from some Coleman bungees).

Thanks for the ID Nan, I thought it was either a Mole Snake or a black phase Cape Cobra!

I did see a couple of other scorpions but they had been killed by knee-jerk reaction jerks so the don't count.
