I also don't like these waterholes!Alf wrote:But again I don't see any water inside that waterhole![]()
If any, why are the water level so low![]()
For me it's dangerous for the animals because they can slip very easily on the concrete sides when trying to bend down to drink water
Thank YOU!Pumbaa wrote:Also love the giraffes, however, my favourite is the one with the buffaloes and baboons at the waterhole![]()
Thanks so much Fluterby
Not sure what study they were doing but they wanted to monitor all the species that visit the waterhole.nan wrote:there is autorized to put a camera trap in the bush![]()

Thanks Mel. At least they have put rocks in the Orpen waterhole so if an animal does slip it has some leverage to get up.Mel wrote:The waterhole reminds me of the one at Orpen... and we know that there have been accidents![]()
For the sake of research, it's probably allowed, nan.![]()
Love that picture with the giraffe head between its relative's legs and the bonus of the oxpeckers being seen as well.
Ja, ja...I knew that...just temporarily forgot!Richprins wrote:It's dagha boys, Flutts! (Cement)![]()

The waterhole troughs simply have to wait to fill? Wonder where the reservoir is for that one, now that I think about it...
