Elephant vs Stick

This Elephant decided to take a closer look at the Safari tourists when he suddenly got a bit to close.

The experienced tracker sitting on the front of the open safari vehicle took his “Knobkierie”(Traditional African weapon) made out of wood and started to wave it at the Elephant. A Knobkierie is a short stick with a knob at the top, traditionally used as a weapon by the indigenous peoples of South Africa.

Maybe the Elephant saw this as the trunk of a bigger Elephant but it immediately backed off.
