I've seen some scary ones in Kruger too - especially at Balule (scorpion central)!

Yes, we got out and gave the Lioness a pat!

Good...she looked very lonely!

Hope you did not had to share your picnic with lady lion....

I was about to turn around when I spotted a stopped car ahead, I thought I'd see what they had stopped for and then head back to TR.

It was a good decision.


On the way back to camp.

A convoy was slowly approaching from the south, following these two lovely ladies.




This Squirrel was having a grooming session.




Another Whistling Rat.



And less than a metre away, a Ground Agama.

Crimson Breasted Shrike.


And last but not least, a BBJ.


Then it was time to pack up our tent and head back to Johannesburg.

Very good, BT! Like the red bird!
