Indeed a lovely place to stay for a while, but I spent there only 15 minutes this time

The young bull did his round around the pan checking the water for a drink here and there

Tembe has the largest population of Nyala and they are everywhere and fun to watch drinking















Different groups there who come and go!

They try to impress eachother with display raising his white dorsal crest, but are largely ignored by the other bulls



and move on to find another one who would respond with submissive posture




They are a peaceful bunch of males, not barking, not fighting, just doing their posing and don't get angry when they fail, very unmacho

The orange pulp of the toad tree fruit is a welcome snack before I'll have a look at Mahlasela Hide. Haven't been there and it's the third day at Tembe already

The kudus are beautiful antelopes No impalas at Tembe?

What does the toad tree fruit taste like.....if one can explain a taste?

Somewhat sour this fruit, Lis - or refreshing similar to Monkey orange

There are also Impala, but much more Nyala
