I have now remembered another conversion that I have to come clean about.

RP “I’m sure they pull their sightings off the internet”

Destroyer “Yes, I want to hear about this ietermago”

RP “They spotted it in the middle of the day walking down the road”

I’m keeping quiet through this entire thing as I have no idea what the hell this special sighting is or what an “ietermago” is.

BC “We were lucky”

The Cow was looking blankly at me, so I tried to let it ride, but Destroyer continued

BC “The Cow can tell it better”

Cow “No, BC you tell it better” and still looked very blank offering no clues.

RP “Someone tell the story”

BC “No it’s an old story” and desperately hoped it would go away

RP “Fine, I will tell the story”

I breathed a sigh of relief and waited to hear about this strange “ietermago” that we had spotted.

RP “They left Olifants and it was walking down the road. They have photos and video, else I wouldn’t have believed it”

Then the penny dropped it was a pangolin.

BC “No, we left Satara and it was a few km outside camp on the H1-4”
