Hey BT, hope your troubles will soon be behind you.
Some interesting creepies!

I'm sure they used a whip spider in one of the Harry Potter movies....strange creature!

I wouldn't know, I read the first book and didn't bother with any of the others. I've watched one or two of the movies but didn't think they were worth remembering.
But they are very strange creatures

Day 8 Friday 16 November : Balule.
It was raining when the alarm went off before the sparrows farted so we went back to sleep.
When we eventually got up I spotted an interesting caterpillar crawling across the fridge top.
We took a leisurely drive down to Satara where we'd arranged to meet Aat and Ellie for breakfast.
There was a huge herd of Buffs a few kms north of Satara.
Aat presented me with a copy of his excellent Tuskers Calendar which now hangs in a prominent position in our house.
On the way back to camp I took this scenic picture.
Back at Balule, a Robber Fly and a White-fronted Bee-eater.
The afternoon drive was a bust, I didn't get a single picture that was worth posting.
I found this beautiful spider in the entrance to the ablution block. I think it's a Trapdoor Spider of some kind.
It was a bit skittish and was jumping and assuming this aggressive posture every time I moved.
It even jumped and landed upside-down.
