There does not seem to be much difference from the usual online payment/booking system

As far as I gathered, you don't have to be registered to pay. But like I said before: haven't tried it yet, so can't make an elaborate statement.

If this shows up online one day after the bookings opened, something is seriously wrong with the booking system.
And this time it's something technical. Too good to be true... I should hold some of those nights that show as not
being taken (for the non-KTPer... there is a max of 5 units in this camp...)

Aren't they supposed to allow the April 2019 bookings only as of 1st May ?

That is a whole other drama, Dingwe...some operators get preferential treatment and are already taking bookings now for next April.
