Samson is definitely nicer, but apparently he is now called Robin. No-one seems totally sure how/when the name change happened
All 3 will remain in the Kuzuko area and won't be back in the main section of the park. There are 2 ageing lions in Kuzuko so these 3 will be seen as the replacements in due course. I can imagine when social media realises that they won't be seen again in the main section there will be a small outcry - after all these became 'our' cubs

They will probably be better off in the Kuzuko area. It is not that important to see them, it's important to know that they are there

Well, people must visit Kuzuko then...
But I seem to remember that it's a luxury lodge. And I wouldn't want to stay there either.

I had a very enjoyable trip to Addo over the weekend with D. Both kids got a 'Daddy Camp Out' voucher in their Christmas stockings, and D decided to cash his in at Addo (well trained
).
We drove down to the south gate in no particular rush and planned to meander through the park to see what we could find on our way up to the campsite at the main camp.
The park was surprisingly quiet. I suppose we were going through at a time when many animals had already moved away from the roads etc, but it was very quiet on the visitor front as well. We found this juvenile jackal buzzard on Ngulube Loop
Just past the crossroads this buffalo seemed to be enjoying a meal while lying down. It's very green in Addo at the moment so there's plenty of lush grass to feed on.
Once up at the main camp we fought with the hard ground and got the tent up and a fire ready for later in the evening. Our plan was to spend a good afternoon exploring the Gorah Loop area in the hope of seeing some cats.

Your camp looks very nice and organised! What exactly is a 'Daddy Camp Out' voucher?

Lis it's a chance for the kids to spend some one-on-one time with me on a night's camping somewhere not too far away
