This Bee Fly has large reddish eyes, long legs. The proboscis is very long and it is feeding on nectar. The antennae are fairly long. The thorax has a humpbacked shape and looks hairy. The wings are clear.
This would make it a Geron species, γέρων (gérōn) means "old man".
