Thanks for the compliment RP are you sure you are feeling OK? ;-) \O

Getting up early is essential in the bush, it's the best part of the day!

Patience was rewarded O:V

Those junior hyenas are too cool O/\

I get so frustrated trying to take pics on those misty mornings, but you captured some great shots X#X
Thanks BC! Patience was rewarded with a beautiful animal in exquisite golden light. Every photographers dream!

Misty morning pictures are tricky but tweaking them with photoshop can improve them dramatically. Raw image processing is amazing - I now consider the capture of the image in the camera to be only part of the process of making a picture. It's surprising how only small changes can improve an image dramatically.

Day 10 continued.

At Timbavati, on the thatched roof of the kitchen, a Grey Foam-Nest Frog.

A hairy caterpillar.
Image

And a pair of mating Beetles.
Image

On the way back to camp, a Leopard of a different kind.
Image

Back to the river on the afternoon drive. On the way, a couple of Dragonflies.
Image

Lucia Widow Palpopleura lucia
Image

On the bridge, a Jumping Spider Thyene inflata.
Image
Image

And a golden Hippo.
Image

Driving back to camp, a beautiful but dead Butterfly.
Image

And a Three-Banded Plover.

Back on the S90 about 2Kms from Balule we had our second Leopard sighting. It was almost dark when a shadow moved quickly across the road about 30 metres ahead of us and disappeared into the bush. We only saw it for a couple of seconds and identified it as a Leopard because of the white tip to its tail.

Great jumping Spider shots, BluTuna,

needless to say that when I spotted my very first one I got a bit irritated about their jumps =O:
