Missed this quip...very clever, BT! O**

Looks like your ground-netting gets a lot of creepy visitors! =O:

A big buff herd indeed, and well done on getting that ghastly spider to roll over for you...the spider whisperer! lol

The scenic picture is a bit feeble...maybe too far? -O-

The Trappie is an Idiopid, eye patterns match prefectly ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

Stylish hairy larva, and I have no clue what it is - but very elegant O:V
Thanks Toko, for the comment and the ID. I'll check the spider in the book when I get a chance.

I like your scenic pic, very picturesque \O

That's a big herd of buffs

Interesting black spider. How big are those thingies? ;-)
I'm glad you like my scenic pic, I do too; some don't it seems :-?

It was a very large herd of Buffs, as usual it's difficult to get pictures that show large groups of animals.

If memory serves (which it usually doesn't) the spider was around 7cm across.

It does seem to attract the bugs but that may be that they are more visible on the groundsheet. EDIT : Still waiting for the ultimate creepy visitor O**

It was a big herd, we usually see herds of that size in the Mopani area.

Spider whisperer? Doesn't Nan already have that nickname?
