WOW... You didn't experience rain only but also some pretty heavy storms by the looks of it

Those lions are really cute! And so tender with each other. 0/0

Hanri has grown into a real show-girl O** She definitely is her mum's daughter. And gladly so. Hope she'll have just as many years to come. O\/

Actually, that is what I thought when I saw your photo. But with cheetahs it's difficult. She Looks rather thin otherwise and maybe she just had a good meal -O-
On the other Hand, I'm still pondering about why she cut off Gus and Marg so early... Maybe because she had already been in heat again? Only speculations and
we'll only know if we get to see some cubs in the near future. But that's a big IF cause even Lisette and Elena lost quite a few litters inbetweeen those we got
to know. 0:

Re-start for my second stay of 4 nights at Grootkolk O/\
Started with AWC, Lesser Grey Shrike, Pygmy Falcon.
At Kwang, a Lanner Falcon propagate terror, a Gymnogene (that I first identified as a juv Bateleur), Yellow-billed Kites, Secretary Birds... test. He is young and I think he wants to show his parents who are present, how he does ... and how strong it is... O-/

As always mandatory stop at Nossob I request charging the battery of the "fridge". The charger is not found ... there is only one in the whole camp? It will eventually come for a half load, the current is cut off much of the night

Image half night
