Mel wrote: Thu Feb 15, 2018 9:16 pm Wonderful again, nan! I like those bird shots and the bullfrog from the side is my top favourite.
Then there is the oryx youngster with his one horned mum... :-)

^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^
thank you Mel :-)
I know there is Bullfrogs at Lijersdraai, I have heard them one evening during a big shower(rain)
have a look if....if.... there is some water there... good luck
maybe mum had having (???) problems to put baby in the world 0*\ ;-)

That is where I saw my bullfrogs in Jan 2017 Nan....in a puddle in the road just before one gets to Lijersdraai picnic spot. :)

Love the frog, and the Courser - O/\ never seen either one.

The similar shapes of the oryx horns and the grass blades really does make an interesting picture ^Q^

3.3 Okokvejo

Early in the morning we leave Mukiti Lodge for Okokvejo. We cross the entire southern part of the park, not to mention loops and viewpoints. Again a multitude of birds, a Black-backed Jackal, a large family Ostriches, congratulations to parents, not easy to raise as many chicks in such conditions.

We arrive at the camp, wow a little wonder, a 2-story bungalow overlooking the waterhole which is surrounded by benches. I will occupy the room of the first, under the roof.
The bed is equipped with a mosquito net very useful ... Bats could be hanged O-/ in the thatch of the roof, mosquitoes I didn't see any of them
The mosquito net is especially well made, it also surrounds the bedside tables, so good access to bedside lamps during the night
