Hello there
I would like to ask your help in identifying this amazingly cute stick/ leaf insect protecting her eggs. I found her on a plank in my garden.
I live in Gauteng in South Africa.

There is not much known on the biology of this species. Some females will also guard the hatchlings for the first week or so.
I hope you don't miss the event
What is the egg mass like? Is it just eggs or covered in a foam-like ootheca?
