(Mel, Flutts, and Klippie - =O: \O )

I love the Clint Eastwood (sorry for the incorrect spelling, will have to go back a page for your version) part. =O: =O: SO and I love all his flicks, but what else would you expect from a 'Merican. O**

:-0 Pleasure, everyone!

A few thousand kilometres later one gets to Nyawutsi hide, quite a lovely oasis under a host of apple-leaf trees! ^Q^

(Never been there! :-) )

q.jpg

It is tiny! lol

q1.jpg

There is a huge parking area, though, and Borderline and I had a smoke while the others investigated. Blessed shade! :ty:

q2.jpg

The hide overlooks a bit of water!

It is a silly hide, in my opinion, as one gets the same view standing outside a few metres from the serious viewers! lol

(We never went inside... :o0ps: )

Onward! 0()

To celebrate Frewells had bought some Guinness Draughts at the shop at the hide! X#X

These cans have an explosive inside that fizzes the thing up when you open it, with sometimes questionable results... O-/

Here is Frewells also demanding food!

Fw: "I am not driving anymore and want a piece of old steak THIS big! NOW!"

q5.jpg

So I tackled the steak kilogram by kilogram, but we didn't have utensils really...only a plastic knife from the Effeminate Basket and a Kruger Rubbish Paper Bag for a plate. :o0ps:

We reached the Shingwedzi River !

It was horribly hot by now, with animals drinking as much as possible! ;-)

q7.jpg

More giant turtles too! 0-

q8.jpg

We were moving along smartly now, with Borderline at the wheel... <hot>

The steak was heaven-sent as we should theoretically have been back at Mopane already having a leisurely brunch... O**

The back of the Samoosa was beginning to resemble a slaughterhouse with steak, blood and Guinness flying about all over the place. A hasty smudged pic through the window:

A dollhouse hide lol You did not enter :-? Aren't dimwits curious or does it go past their mental capacity =O: =O:

Was there a shop at the hide :-?

Never turn upside down a beer before opening it :X: =O:

Steak? Raw? O-/ ??? What were you celebrating anyway lol lol

You cannot be sure that it's the Shingwedzi River, there is not enough water

Those turtles look big all right

It was the leftover steak from the previous night, Lis! :-0
