Joan and I spent 6 hours at Rietvlei a few days ago and here are some of my photos - I hope not too many as I just do not seem to be able to stop posting photos.
Once again Rietvlei produced, not one first but eight firsts for birds.
Not sure on an ID for this little guy.
Part of a herd of 17 eland seen from fern hide.
A little fluffed up ??????????????????????
Yellow-crowned bishop.
Whiskered tern.
Coming in to land.
