Pumbaa wrote:Great jumping Spider shots, BluTuna,

needless to say that when I spotted my very first one I got a bit irritated about their jumps =O:

Gorgeous hyaena shots and fantastic leopard pictures on top - WoW O/\ O/\ O/\
Thanks Pumbaa \O

When they jump, they move so fast it's like that have suddenly vanished! I have that problem with almost all of the insects I photograph. Just as I'm getting them frames & focused they fly or jump away!

Day 11. Thursday 29 May 2014. Balule.

Bright and clear this morning! We took a long drive down the S90 and S41 to N'wanetsi Picnic Spot for breakfast then back to camp on the H6, H1-4 and S89.

First up at the Hyaena den, the babysitter was looking very alert and I there may have been a threat to the cubs as it was the last time we saw them there.

The only cub that was out looked quite relaxed.

Later we found a BBJ sniffing around.

It came close enough for a couple of portraits.

Dead tree with Guineafowl.

More Buffs.

Does this one qualify as a Mega-Buff?

Burchell's Coucal with breakfast.

Our first unmentionable of the trip. When we got to Satara I reported this one's injury to the conservation officer.

A young Kudu was also getting breakfast.

Thank you Lisbeth, I try to take as much variety as possible. Digital photography costs nothing one you have the equipment so I take advantage of that and shoot anything and everything that presents itself! The Kruger Park I love is about the whole experience, not just the big 5!

And thank you also for the nominations \O
