People always say that when it comes to sightings it is down to luck. The saying "right place at the right time" is often used.
But I do believe that some people do have better sightings than others.
A friend of mine, a Kruger regular, has had the most amazing sightings.
I think though, that the amount of time spent on game drives has something to do with this.
The more time one spends on the road, the more likely one is to come across something interesting.
This friend of mine does 2 x 3 week trips in Kruger a year. He leaves camp when the gates open, and returns when the gates close.
So perhaps it's not a surprise that he sees more than someone who goes to Kruger for a few days, and does a few hours in the morning, and a few hours in the evening.
