The green light flickered, approval granted>

I have yet to read the e-mail properly but can very well
suggest the contents,....Same old, same old,.. same ol,..

A forgone conclusion!!

Government approval needs to be contested, same old,,
same old if only for the records!!! I suggest we get some
heads together and formulate a strategy far different from
same old same old and same old appeasement strategy!!!

Africa Wild forum need to set forth far higher levels of
discontent at this decision making as proposed and accepted
by .gov..

The Curator in conjunction with .gov, for many years now
free falling in the realms of NEMA the act!! This very same act
falling hopelessly short in it's moral obligations toward society!!

I hope to attend a meeting even if it were a waste of time,..../

Further more I wish to point out, instructions as per .gov
to mister Phillips CEO KNP,

In terms of regulation 4(20) of the environmental impact
assessments you are requested to inform blah blah blah,
all interested and affected parties within fourteen days!!

Your attention is drawn to chapter 2 of government notice
R993 which prescribes the appeal process to be followed!!

Let's see if MR. Phillips has any moral and should we be graced
by any of his effort???, as set out by the law,....

I still cannot see how the opening of this gate will be of real NET benefit to Kruger .
1 ) The only people ( community ) who will benefit from this will be those who are close to that gate - ie Giyani area .
2 ) Kruger has limited facilities that can only accommodate a certain number of tourists , and that limit has already been reached in number of tourists . Therefore another gate will not necessarily cause INCREASED numbers of tourists , especially HIGH value tourists such as those from overseas .
3 ) It therefore follows that any number of visitors who enter and exit the park through the new gate , will impact on the number of entries and exits through other existing gates , especially Punda and Pafuri gates .
4 )The new gate gives access to one of the last and most pristine areas of the park , and which for almost 100 years have been totally unspoilt by human activity . It should not be disturbed .
5 ) The new gate will specifically give better access for a throughway to Mocambique , and specifically allow for such traffic to be a further conduit for poaching , and more specifically smuggling and poaching of elephant , especially of the very large populations of these animals within that region .

Okie's letter has the right information that can be used for a protest letter to Sanparks \O
