Very interesting, nana!
The place looks like a garden indeed!
Doesn't the fridge charge from the car engine, or did I miss that part?

I don't think I have seen hartebeest on dune rd..so pleased hartebeest don't take part in challenge ...
Really awesome Lappet-faced Vulture

wait, wait... could be in the future

Did they replace some of the boards of the walkway to the hide at least? In the past years we found it in various states, somethimes quite perilous to walk there with broken boards and all.

yes, it was super to Watch all these raptors
they did nothing at the old hide... even the door can't close anymore

... could be a Jackal, like Michele found once
but the way was "normal"

yes... the raptors's sequence was great... at last for me
the new hide will be (or is already now) for everybody, about same size like the old one and maybe 20 m. before the old one
I can't remember how many new bungalows and camping's places (if I remember correctly) it will be = 1 car per new one... still not so much than other places in SA

I don't approve these new buildings

The lions look like they are in someone's garden!

and of course the Gymnogene
these Lions stayed a part of the night at the hide, I can't post another pics, it was already too late, not enough light
but I can heard them after the light switch off... under the duvet
right lot of chance with all these very interesting sightings... lot and lot cats
the view, I have some doubt too... I don't know what they did with the trees that were at the left side... and now in front of the new one, and like you said the waterhole a bit far away

a garden

yes it is
the fridge charge was almost normal... just no enough "power" after I use all... so need to put it at 100%... before going to Grootkolk, where there is nothing

everybody

I arrive at Grootkolk Franco attributes to me the same unit (Nr 3).
Three Yellow Mongooses come to drink in the bowl of water placed on the ground as well as a pair of Long-tailled Paradise Whydah and a Black-faced Waxbill.
And this is where the Puff Adder comes in (see/ read early tale).
En route a very curious sighting… lot and lot of flying Termites (?) landed in the road and it was like a war, Ants attacking and devouring the Termites

Termite

attack
