On inat the Bisanthe are ID'ed by pros (if you check the user profiles of the people who IDed), only recently after new members joined


So far I did not check the genus description of the early literature IF there is something

but my thoughts

black thick antennae
cerci sticking out
yellow margin of the wing
females have larger heads than males
decrease of pronotum length in the southern populations

Kaltenbachs key is only about the length of the pronotum and genitals

If you compare the wing length of the mantodea file photo - it does not extend much over the abdomen tip.

Do you consider the eye of your mantis round in shape?

The eye shape of the female in the file photo is different to yours, IMO

This says: 2 tubercles on the frontal shield

If not we would see through the forewing seeing the hind wing

I mean: is it a male or a female? Can we see a broad body from that angle?
