Day 1 Part 9:
So we headed North through the deathly dry blasted heaths of the Capricorn Mopaneveld...
DW: "In my considered estimate you are overly verbacious, if not indeed having developed an innately subconcious need to express yourself through attempts at orating loquaciously, hence suppressing your inadequacies at revealing the prescence of local fauna,"
RP: "
"
That's the gin...don't worry, it didn't last long!
This baby giraffe all alone?
And then MY spotting!
RP: "Suck on that locquacious fauna, you #$%^ self-appointed orator!"
DW: "What are the loquation you is talking of?"
RP: "
"
Anyway, it was hot, and everything was isn the shade. We maintained a steady pace in the "Dong"...which cannot be said for "O Fortuna", which kept speeding past us and stopping for rubbish and speeding past again...It seems Mambas was now overexcited at having seen leopard and cheetah already...
This elephant in the shade:
Approaching Shingwedzi:
DW: "Forna!" (Goes back to sleep)
And in the riverbed this one also sleeping....with tusk buried in the riverbank...
No jokes!
Elephant: "Oh, no! It's true...they're back!....let me hide my tusk before the idiot starts claiming some sort of sighting...Phew! Just in time!....must warn the others tonight!"
"
RP: "You know, Dwarf, that elephant could have had potential!, and..."
DW: "Zzzzzz"
So onward and Northward!
