It's appearance is pretty distinctive, so it may well be this:
(Hemiptera: Reduviidae)Assassin Bugs (Platymeris biguttatus) are a small bug originating from the tropical regions of Africa. They are mostly black with yellow legs and twin white spots on their back.

Platymeris biguttata is not recorded from South Africa. But it is a Platymeris sp and they have a reputation for spitting venom 
.
