Was he allowed to keep a dog in Kruger?

Yes there are 22 Section Rangers in Kruger and they are allowed dogs ..I brought in many for the Section rangers over time including Don's Sheba his Dad Mike English 'Major ' while he was Ranger at Stolznek and Lynne van Rooyen Lower Sabie, Bruce Bryden at Shingwedzi and Thys Mostert at Pretorius Kop. They use them to warn of Danger ahead while walking , Tracking Poachers , Companionship etc etc..The newer / current rangers ..dogs dont seem to be that popular at all

Received independent confirmation that 52 rhino were poached during Don's absence from his area of control. Only 6 since his return.
