Thanks very much F.B. I will try and keep them green as much as possible or if they might be of interest.

We have not been out sightseeing much as the weather is still dull and freezing cold.

In the absence of green pics I thought the following might be of interest.

Our menu for the flight over.

On Saturday 17 March we went to see the 25th Anniversary performance of Classical Spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall. Opened in 1871 the hall seats some 5500 people on 6 levels. The night we went it was 100% full. The atmosphere was amazing. I have scanned a photo from the programme to try and show the size of the hall.

Hi B.C. and clan - Welcome on board and thanks for your warm comments.

Sorry folks, but here is another piece of useless information.

I have noticed that all Virgin Atlantic aircraft have been named. So, what is so interesting about that you might say.

Well, what I did pick up is that the name of the aircraft ties up with its registration number i.e.

G - VELD African Queen
G - VWKD Miss Behavin
G - VFIT Dancing Queen
G-VBUG Lady Bird
G- VFIZ Bubbles
G - VGEM Diamond Girl
G - VINE Champagne Belle
G - VROC Mustang Sally
and so it goes on.

The one we flew over on was an exception. The number was G-VYOU and named Emmeline Heaney. Not sure of the reason for this but will google it to find out more.

"The name for this aircraft was auctioned for charity. Mr Heaney was the highest bidder and named the aircraft "Emmeline Heaney" after his daughter."
