No chit chat without pics nor information allowed? :-?

-O -O -O Lisbeth…remember, I'm a Carnival Barker when it comes to meerkats, not a WARDEN! (Tho' my SO calls me that in front of the kids way too often for his own good…  )
So, what would you like to chat about? Oxytocins role in the out of body experience, the bonobo's model for living in a more empathic society, or Housewives of New Jersey? -O -O I'm game!!! ;-)

Dewi….as per your usual, BINGO! \O

Beetles:
Meerkats feed on many different varieties of beetles which include the larvae. One type of beetle is usually left alone - the Dung beetle. It is vital for keeping the Meerkat's burrows clean and free of waste, as they share a communal latrine. Dung Beetles act as a resident maid service for the messy meerkats.

Amoli: a meerkat is a type of mongoose, but not all mongooses are meerkats ( there are Slender, Yellow, Striped, Tie-dyed, Paisley, Madras…) You get my drift… There is a topic under Mammals on "Mongooses" that would love to have your pics.

Leachy, thanks for taking the time to post your pics. I love the 'lil ones! \O
