Anyone know why the safari tents at Letaba are cheaper than the huts? Normally the huts are slightly cheaper...?

Is there some sort of different between the huts at Letaba (EA3U) vs. Lower Sabie (H3 etc. ), as there is quite a difference in the price?

EA3U overlook the river so perimeter, where I think H3 are not, am in the EA3U for 5 nights starting Sunday. Think they are great value for money compared to safari tents as they have aircon instead of fan and they have the view.

The 2 bed safari tents are in centre of camp and 4 beds some look out over the fence towards the sand road between letaba and Olifants. \O

One very important thing ; during rainy season new grass already 20-30 cm high (Nov-Dec) the big ones come and grace next to the fence.Did have a few very good visits(safari-tent 7)including Masthulele.

Ok cool sounds good. One final question... what is the noise level like in the huts? When I look at the map, they appear very close to the amphitheatre and restaurant?

Shouldn't be a problem, brucebru! The amphitheatre is not used much, I don't think. Stayed right next to the restaurant complex during peak season (the southern side) once, and did not even know it was there until the next morning! lol
