The following are some negative reporting issues that might have affected our reputational rating for the period under review:
• Allegations relating to some of our staff members who are allegedly implicated in rhino poaching crimes.
• Publications about opposition to the construction of the Skukuza conference lodge and Malelane safari lodge in the Kruger National Park by the various lobby groups in the country.
• Opposition to the development of the Chapman’s Peak (Table Mountain National Park) toll plaza.

O\/ As we approach 500 members, despite many indications from various to the contrary, I would just like to add a heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed on AW, be it a hello post, funding, pics, TT's etc! This place is very special! O0

Lots more to come, IMO, and personally would like a bit more opinions on the serious topics, but that is just me! X#X

Looking around at media and other forums lately, it seems clear that much of what is said here regarding serious topics is taken further elsewhere.

While some continue to belittle us, our membership continues to grow slowly but surely. The nice thing is there is good freedom of speech here, without constraints, and a good interlinking with other organisations.

Also, as an aside, AW comes up often on google searches regarding various topics! \O
