Here are the SUGGESTED question areas as provided by Kruger Planning, SANParks:


1. Please indicate your specific interest in the KNP Management Plan review.
2. What were the key issues addressed through the current Management Plan (programmes) in
which you have an interest.
3. What is changing in the KNP and surrounding area context which you as a stakeholder believe we
should consider in the management plan review.
4. What are the key vital attributes/key features (uniqueness) to be considered as part of the KNP
Management Plan review (KNP and broader environment)?
5. What are the current perceived key drivers/challenges/gaps/threats that need to be considered
in the KNP Management Plan?
6. What are the opportunities to be considered as part of the KNP Management Plan review?
7. What would you suggest that the KNP need to consider/ amend e.g. in terms of the focus,
approach, actions, prioritisation etc. for the development of the KNP Management Plan/lower
level plans?

It turns out the Berg&Dal meeting of 11 May is not public participation as much as possibly about tenders and future opportunities, based upon private invitations!

But We will get the info after that, I'm sure.

The meeting WAS in fact about the 10-year management plan, and apparently open but some invited...weird, but anyway, some very good and no-holds-barred comments that were exchanged, which bodes well for the other meetings, I hope!

Mr Phillips was not there.

One must also stress that it is absolutely VITAL that our foreign members give their inputs, as this adds great "apolitical" weight indeed!

RP , that suggested Questions is that for the upcoming meeting or was that for the Berg en Dal meeting ? Must we apply for accreditation or will that be done at the meeting .No answer at their telephone no that was given in the press today.

The SUGGESTED questions are about the whole process, and more a guide dup...we can ask outside those parameters and there are more meetings for February next year, before final submission. Will send anyone requesting it the relevant mail.

Mr Spies is very professional, so would suggest his number and email address be used!

I suppose for logistical purposes one should attempt to register for the meetings, why not?

But I'm sure a member of the public, read stakeholder, will not be denied access at any stage!
