They do not necessarily announce reintroductions, for obvious reasons.

That's not the point. Do they re-introduce or not? Nobody asks them to tell the place.

These will never return to their natural habitat, they are hand reared farm animals. And they will maybe start breeding on this farm (I hope not).
Just another case of farmed animals Actually sad because this money (mostly by donations and foreign volunteers) could be spent better. But of course good for the saved rhino if you subscribe to the animal welfare ethics which is often ridiculed.

There are some orphaned rhino released back into the wild by Ezemvelo, so it works if you do it properly.

As a rule of thumb: Any facility working with paying volunteers is usually more in the tourism industry than in the conservation industry.
Interesting is, that the sanctuary can operate perfectly without volunteers. So the volunteers are only there to pay and don't do essential work for conservation.
