Ja, Rog! \O

Dear Kruger National Park stakeholder,

As per previous communication we would like to invite you to have your say on the possible traffic management solutions for the Kruger National Park.

The University of Queensland is undertaking this research on behalf of SANParks. If you wish to read the ethics statement for this study again, please see the attachment to this email. The purpose of this research is to provide information to Park Management regarding stakeholder perceptions of traffic management problems and possible solutions. The problems and possible solutions presented in this survey have been generated by stakeholders through a series of focus group sessions held over the past two weeks.

We would request that you complete this online questionnaire within the next two days so that we can analyse the popularity of all possible solutions for each stakeholder group. We will use weighted means to ensure that all stakeholder groups are treated equally. The most favoured solutions from each group will then be used to create a new list. This new list will be sent to you in approximately four days for you to rank the ten solutions that you feel are most important.

To access the online survey please click on this link: Traffic Management Survey

If you have any problems completing this survey, please reply to this email. Please note that as this email is being monitored in Australia, there may be a delay in responding due to the time difference.

Your timely completion of this online survey is very much appreciated.

Yours Sincerely

Professor Roy Ballantyne, Associate Professor Jan Packer and Dr Joanne Sneddon

(Research Team)

biased!!!

I did RP but was thoroughly questioned about the intent and
purpose!! They saw me coming a mile away well informed!!

I was bluntly reminded that the meet was about finding solution
rather than the cause of said discomfort that Sanparks are
experiencing, namely traffic problems!!

On that topic I may as well here and now express my distrust
in this survey!! A topic preconceived that will definitely in future
be used as a leverage regarding Public Participation and decision
making. I do not agree with this process!!!

The real cause of this problem being swept under the carpet!!
The mere fact that this survey is offered as a gift already gets
the hair on my back reaching for the sky!!

Tell me what you like, anybody out there, are so called honorable
donations subject to the same stringent BEEEE and other hogwash
principles that the public have to live with???

Any proper survey on this matter would for,
1 have taken into account a cause for disposition!!
2 have taken steps to a far greater level of study rather
than mere blue and yello stickers that would suite!!!

I'm afraid but to my mind KNP far greater than this low level would
be so called educated study!!

It reeks,...

The Aussies are aware, H! Otherwise they wouldn't have asked for your homework. Don't worry, just email to get to the survey, as you are an iaap! \O

Round 2 survey is out! \O

My final suggestion/comment:

The simplest solution would be to decrease the number of day visitors allowed (gate quotas) to 300-350 per gate. Non-tourist vehicles must also be included in the quotas, which means that deliveries will be streamlined or unnecessary outsourcing of services be ended.
