Re: Addo Outings 2018
Thanks everyone
With the day hotting up nicely we took a route up to the main camp and decided to braai there instead of Jacks. With the fire going and feeling very relaxed this bushbuck popped into the open nearby
It was also a good chance to photograph some of the colourful flowers that have been covering the park
Once we had finished eating a weaver came along to check for any leftovers
The rest of the drive south was rather quiet with most animals avoiding the head of the day. The lions were flat out and barely visible, but when we got down to Lismore there was a one-horned buffalo enjoying a mud bath
After a good scratch he went to drink and amazingly an elephant came in and tolerated him being there...
Normally the ellies will chase a single buffalo away from water very quickly, but this one wasn't in the mood for a major clash. After a while the elephant decided it was time for the buffalo to move on and gently splashed him a few times until he got the message

Awesome flower shots
And a great three in one pic
The buff taking his mud bath looks like he's singing
Plus a very relaxed bushbuck - fantastic
