Nice to get a kill, Flutters!
And, it looks real good to see a lady sorting out the fire and without a problem at that!

Why is it surprising that a lady can light a fire?

I didn't say"surprising", I said it looks good.

The pics aren't bad but it just irritates me that people make up their own rules. Some people even get cross with you if you park parallel to the road!!

Lighting a fire is easy...I enjoyed it!

Hey Sprocky, nice to see you round. It's always good to see lions doing something other than sleeping.

I got quite good at the whole fire thing and was quite impressed with myself.

I hope, Lis will allow us to at least look at her cute squirrel
For shooting blind your photos aren't bad at all! Actually, there are people out there who don't take photos as good as those -
and that is WITH looking
And you thought of a food pic for the RP too.
Next time, maybe I could get a caracal?

I hope you got a glimpse on the lions without checking what your camera had captured
Congrats on the Green-winged Pytilia (with waxbill, I think)!
I like the dead tree in the plain landscape

Nice pics of the Squirrel & not bad pics of the lions even though you could not get a clear view by the angle .

Thats why we refer to some sighting as scrums the cars all have lined up scrumming for position .

If we spot those we normally u-turn and find the nearest loop around
Looks like a perfectly good braai fire to me
