One of the largest dams in a Sanpark reserve is Darlington dam. Are you in Greater Addo NP?

I have not seen mention of that park here before...
Not far from here there are normally jukskei tournaments...
and of course a rather sizable woman jail....

From Alberton the Hartebeespoort lies north.
The Vaal lies East.
If I want to see PN, I will drive south. That would be a good half way stop-over for me.
There is a pre-historic hut built here and it is a National monument. This was part of the Leghoya people.
This park is about 400 ha - and civets and red jackal is seen plentifull.
The dam was built for 'besproeiing', but soon fishermen and boats found it.
These are a lot of clues....
