On Saturday we headed off to my SO's workplace, which is her backyard when she's there. It is located about half way between Hartebeespoort Dam and Krugersdorp in Gauteng. It is located in the middle of nowhere because of this contraption, which has to be in a radio-quiet area.

A 26 metre radio telescope which is used for scientific research.

To start off, a Two-Pip Policeman.
And plenty of Citrus Swallowtails
This Dove chick just sat on its rock and let me walk right up to it.
Some Ants.

A couple of which were attacking a Beetle.
Spot the animal!!!!!! A very cryptic Grasshopper.
A Blesbok who's a resident in the compound after he got booted out of the herd that lives in the area.
One of those horrible Australian Bugs.
And the biggest Banded-Legged Golden Orb-Web Spider I've ever seen.
