What's Kruger like in April? We're limited to kids school holidays and I see that the April holidays actually have decent availability... how come? Is the game viewing generally a lot worse at that time of year because of higher vegetation? Or does the weather tend to still be wet/humid?

We've often gone in April and had great sightings. The weather is good...not too hot or cold...and it's a good time for wild dogs.

Our last trip was in April and we saw everything except for cheetah, including 4 different wild dog sightings.

Good question, PJL! No idea, used to be the primest time in the past? :-?

Have found it easy to book that month now too... O-/

Not humid or anything, as said. Autumn starts and it is wonderful and cooler! \O

Well that all sounds very positive! With quite a bit of availability over the school holidays I was wondering if there was a major issue --00--

Next question... if you had a choice between camping in Crocodile Bridge or Skukuza which would you choose and why?

Skukuza for pool and croc bridge for smaller camp. -O- you might get lucky and something might open at Lower Sabie?

I don't know camping in Kruger
but

Skukuza for Lake Panic and a lot of people
and Croc. for peace (and love), Sable Dam nearby and very interesting roads around

;-)
