Moving up through the park it continued to be very quiet on the general game front. This buffalo was having a good old scratch on the bushes

After a while we came across Melvin & Gibson. Here's Gibson with his head up

And then from a distance Melvin got up for a moment

8 lion in one day :shock: :shock: And we only saw 3 elephants the whole day!
There are only 11 in the park currently lol

Those cubs a really cute and yes, look, very healthy! Well done to Josie for being such a great mum. ^Q^
Eight out of eleven lions in one go... Now, that's a bit indecent lol But all the boys look fantastic too.

Not really. There are plenty of water spots in Addo so they wouldn't ever need to wander far to have a drink. But winter here is cold (and this year wet), so they won't be too thirsty and there are loads of natural water pools/puddles available in the park at the moment \O

After all the lion excitement there wasn't much to report when travelling down and out the park.... other than an elusive black rhino O/\ O/\ O/\

It was the first time I've seen this chap - they are apparently all numbered via their ear notches. He had quite a wound on his rump... presumably from a fight!
